Establishing a multi-tenant digital media ecosystem

The award-winning partnership between PT SportSuite and UK sporting group Bristol Sport commenced with the objective of transforming the sporting group’s digital processes around the collection, management, publishing, streaming and monetisation of digital content.

Award winning partnership

In May 2021, PT SportSuite and Bristol Sport were announced winners at the Sport Technology Awards – for Sports Technology Partnership of the Year

The PT SportSuite team’s mission was to provide Bristol Sport with the digital tools and platforms to operate like a modern media house with a digital media infrastructure in place that would allow them to grow and sustain their digital community of fans in an integrated, end-to-end content network.

PT SportSuite worked closely with the various media production and technical teams across the business to implement a phased rollout of PT SportSuite’s AWS-powered media ecosystem.

DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

Protecting Bristol Sport’s Digital Media Assets

SportMojos, PT SportSuite’s digital media collaboration and workflow platform, gave Bristol’s three teams the means to standardise the sharing and distribution of digital content across all stakeholders – fans, players, brand ambassadors, internal staff – within their own branded, multi-tenanted solution.

Key Technologies

Key Integrations

We partnered with PT SportSuite to launch our live and on-demand video platforms, which have all worked incredibly well. The decision to extend our partnership to delivery of all five of our sporting and venue websites means that our workflows are now completely streamlined and the digital ecosystem is fully connected.

One area that we have concentrated on is the stats offering to fans – it is such a growth area in fan engagement and something we are constantly looking to improve. The launch of our new gameday match centre and individual player profile stats is focused on enhancing the fan experience and enables our supporters to be better connected and informed on all their favourite players or teams.
